by contributions of money and work.  Designated giving of our congregation supports all of the mission projects listed below and also provide supplies and materials for persons committed to mission trips.  In 2005 and 2006, the youth mission trip volunteers went to Henderson Settlement in Kentucky and in 2007 to St. John's Island, off the coast of South Carolina.  Volunteers from our congregation are very active in the Habitat for Humanity projects both in Whitley County and in Fort Wayne.

Each year Churubusco United Methodist Church along with other United Methodist churches collects money for approximately one month to support UMCOR, United Methodist Committee On Relief.

While the Food Pantry and the Food Giveaway programs are stand-alone local mission structures, the Missions Committee pays for gas to pick up supplies.
